HKIQEP and BRE co-organise the BREEAM In-Use Awareness Event: Redefining Value at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 7 Aug 2019 (Wednesday).
BREEAM is the world’s leading sustainability assessment method for masterplanning, infrastructure and buildings. It recognises and reflects the value in higher performing assets across the built environment lifecycle, from new construction to in-use and refurbishment.
This awareness event is focussed on BREEAM In-Use (BIU), the leading built asset to portfolio-level operation & management assessment scheme covering key real estate ESG factors. BIU assists property investors, owners, managers and occupiers to drive ESG improvements through driving healthier & more efficient operations. The standard can be used to assess all existing commercial type buildings. The soon to-be launched update of BIU will cover multi-family residential assets. In Hong Kong, International Commerce Centre, Elevante Garde/ Pokfulam Development and Peninsula Hotels have taken the lead to adopte BREEAM standards to manage environmental performance these buildings.
We welcome you to this free to attend BREEAM Awareness Event – a great opportunity to engage with BREEAM and meet other professionals looking to use the BREEAM schemes.
