HKIQEP and BRE co-organise BREEAM Accredited Professional and BREEAM In-Use Assessor Trainings at
The Hong Kong Polytechnical University on  16 – 18 October 2019.


BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP)

A qualified AP is an individual with a high level of general knowledge of the scheme(s) and assessment process(s). The qualified AP have the skills and experience needed to inform, guide and facilitate teams throughout the life of the project, assisting design and construction teams in their individual and collective decision-making and evidence preparation throughout.

BREEAM In-Use Assessor

BREEAM In-Use is an online, international, sustainability assessment methodology for independent, third party assessment and certification of a buildings operational performance. The standard enables property investors, owners, managers and occupiers to drive sustainable improvements through operational efficiency, including how to continually manage the operation of their building effectively.

The BREEAM In-Use assessment process operates entirely through an online platform that enables users to register assets and assess them based on the part(s) chosen. The secure online system has dynamic scoring which produces instantaneous outputs and includes reporting functionality that allows the user to track and improve the performance of their assets & portfolios.


Through the training and workshop exercises, participants can be a qualified AP or register as a licenced BREEAM Assessor.
