The Briefing Session on HKIQEP Qualification Process 2021-22 was successfully held on 3 Jun. Thank you for Dr Samuel CHUI Ho-kwong, Deputy Director of Environmental Protection (1), for giving us the encouraging Opening Remarks, and all participants for joining this informative session.

“The HKIQEP is one of the organisations upholding professionalism in Hong Kong, serving as a very good platform encompassing all environmental aspects covering many different types of professionalism … … provides a very holistic professional assessment to reflect the competence of environmental professionals in HK in carrying out works meeting standards and expectation as well as disciplinary controls of activities of its professional members,” Dr Samuel CHUI Ho-kwong spoke during the Opening Remarks. He also encouraged EPD staffs and fresh graduates tried to obtain professional qualification including the HKIQEP.

Now, the Professional Qualification of HKIQEP has been endorsed by the Engineering and Associated Consultants Selection Board (EACSB) and recognised by the government as one of the qualifications requirements for consultants to engage expertise as professionals in the environmental studies.
