Youth Summit 青年峰會 2024

The Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP) will hold a Youth Summit on “Bridging Sustainability with Climate Change: What and How can the youth ACT for the Greater Bay Area” on 31 May 2024.

Building on the success of the previous summit, the HKIQEP will organize the 2nd Youth Summit on Climate Action in the Greater Bay Area. The summit aims to delve deeper into practical strategies and solutions that young environmental professionals can employ to drive carbon neutrality in their respective sectors. Notably, the summit will engage youth through breakout discussions to explore their current and/or potential contributions to climate action with sustainability in mind in the GBA and their shared vision for the future, as shown in the following tentative sessions.

For participants to understand the development of the GBA, this year’s Youth Summit will be conducted as an integral part of the 7th International Workshop on Regional Air Quality Management (7RAQM) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), China, on May 29-31, 2024.

香港合資格環境專業人員學會（香港環專會）將於2024年5月31日舉辦一場名為「可持續發展與氣候變化的橋樑：青年如何為大灣區的環保事業作出貢獻？」的青年峰會。

有賴眾多參加者踴躍參與第一屆峰會，香港環專會將於今年舉辦第二屆大灣區氣候行動青年峰會。峰會旨在更深入地探討年輕環境專業人士可以採用的實際策略和解決方案，推動各自行業實現碳中和。值得注意的是，峰會將透過小組討論與青年互動，探索他們在大灣區對氣候行動的現有和/或潛在貢獻，以可持續發展為主的思維，以及他們對未來的共同願景，初步主題如下。

為了讓與會者了解大灣區的發展，今年的青年峰會將作為第七屆經濟快速發展地區空氣質量管理國際學術研討會 (7RAQM) 的一部分，在2024年5月31日於中國廣州的香港科技大學舉行。
