On behalf of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals Limited (HKIQEP), we would like to invite you to join us at our Annual Dinner on 23 November 2022 at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile.

Since our establishment in 2015, we have grown to now have over 590 members hailing from different environmental disciplines, with over 1,100 candidates having taken part in our Professional Assessment (Part I) since we first started the qualification process in 2016. Over the past few years, we continued to improve the study guide and maintain our robust qualification process to ensure that our qualified professionals are high-caliber individuals with the technical knowledge and integrity necessary to carry out the environmental work that needs to be done. Most importantly, HKIQEP has achieved some milestones and achievements in the past year, including having our own office since December 2021, launching a certification scheme to identify and certify experienced air and noise modeling practitioners in January 2022, and holding an online youth summit in June 2022.

We are very much honored to have Mr. Tse Chin Wan, BBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment and Ecology, and Dr. Chui Ho Kwong, Samuel, JP, Deputy Director of Environmental Protection as our honorable guests to bear witness to this important occasion.

Your inspiration and support from the beginning and through the years have been instrumental for all the progress HKIQEP has made so far and will continue to make, and so we sincerely hope that you can join us at this year’s Annual dinner to celebrate this progress.

This is also a golden opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new friends and share with the younger generation of environmental professionals how we can make efforts together to support the development of QEPs in Hong Kong.
