Here is a Webinar on Hong Kong Road Traffic Noise Prediction Methodology co-organised by HKIE-MMNC, HKIOA, HKIQEP and HKIEIA. The Webinar will be organized on 16 August 2023 (Wednesday).
The Environmental Protection Department has initiated a study to review the road traffic noise assessment methodologies adopted in mainland China, U.K., U.S. and Europe, and to recommend an appropriate methodology for modelling the unique complicated situations for Hong Kong. The study has examined the suitable assessment approaches for vehicle source characteristics, provision for new-energy vehicles, propagation over elevated structures and noise barriers, and innovative noise mitigation design, etc. The subject webinar provides an introduction to this methodology.
